IMPORTANT NOTICE: Membership in SPS does not in itself
imply that one is qualified to practice psychology in
Singapore
Preliminary Instructions
- In our effort to be more environmentally
friendly, the SPS is doing away with our printed application form, mail
submission and cheque payment. As of 1st April 2010, only
the ONLINE APPLICATION for membership will be processed. You will also
require access to Internet Banking for Funds Transfer
before you proceed with your application.
- For purpose of authenticity,
SPS will require original academic transcripts to be mailed directly
from the home institution. Copies of employment records, certificates
& other supporting documents must be certified true copy by the
awarding university, awarding organization,
Advocate & Solicitor (Non-Family Member), a Notary Public, a Justice of
Peace or embassy ONLY.
- Reinstatement of lapsed membership
attracts a reinstament fee and backpayment of past
dues. If your membership has lapsed and have not received a reminder
from SPS, please email us at secretariat@singaporepsychologicalsociety.org

Note: Completed membership applications are
reviewed by Membership Committee at its monthly meeting and sent to the
next monthly Council Meeting for approval. Please allow up to 12 weeks for
processing of SPS membership applications after you have completed your
application, payment and submission of supporting documents. SPS is an
professional society run by volunteer psychologists for psychologists
